This all-inclusive ticket is jammed-packed with a cornucopia of culinary creations, wine displays with industry experts, craft beers, live music, and incredible wine experiences. Beverage and culinary offerings from area restaurants, chefs, and caterers will be featured. Bring your thirst as tasting stations will offer choices from 300+ beverages.

That is what you’ll find as a Wine Walk VIP: a luxury experience where guests take great comfort in the VIP-only area and an hour early access to the entire event at 5 pm. Guests will live extravagantly for a few hours while sampling premium wines available only to VIP guests, the “bigger” keepsake wine glass, and chef-inspired hors d’oeuvres by some of The Woodlands’ best.

We are RAIN OR SHINE and cannot process refunds. In the rare event that we cancel the event, we will issue a credit to be used for a future event, and we will send an email to all attendees. If you did not receive an email, then the event is proceeding as planned.

Nonna Luciana

Nonna Luciana — or Nonna Lucy, as we affectionately call her — was born in Naples into a large family, with two sisters and one brother. She learned to cook when she was very young, helping at home while the rest of the family worked in her father’s shop.

On her mother’s side, the family owned a historic bakery in Naples. As a child, Nonna Lucy loved sneaking into the workshop to watch the bakers at work, fascinated by their hands shaping and kneading the dough. Those memories have stayed with her throughout her life.

As an adult, Nonna Luciana moved to Rome and became an elementary school teacher. Her passion for good food followed her into the classroom, where she involved her pupils in projects about nutrition, healthy choices, and the importance of a balanced diet made with wholesome, seasonal ingredients.

Now that she is retired, Nonna Lucy continues to teach both children and adults how to prepare fresh pasta, bread and many other delicious dishes. Her favorite activity is still kneading dough. The smell of yeast when she makes bread never fails to move her, taking her back to the little girl who would secretly slip into her family’s bakery to watch the bakers work.

Although she still misses the family she left behind in Naples, moving to Rome gave Nonna Luciana the chance to build a second family: a true village made up of sisters not by blood, and many honorary nieces and nephews. Every Sunday, she brings them all together around her table with her generous gourmet dishes.

For Nonna Lucy, cooking is still what it has always been: a way to teach, remember, and make everyone feel part of a family.

Nonna Italia

Nonna Italia, born and raised in Palombara Sabina, is (or was) our sweetest and shyest grandma :)She takes her name from our beautiful country, Italy.

This year, she traveled outside Italy for the very first time — and now nothing can stop her! :) Today she sings, dances, and can’t wait to get on another plane for her next adventure.

Italia grew up in a very close-knit family, where food has always been, above all, a way of bringing people together. For her, sitting around the table and sharing a meal is one of the most beautiful ways of showing love. She has been cooking since she was 8 years old, and even today she loves taking care of her children and grandchildren, making her own fresh pasta by hand. Of all her recipes, her favorite is fettuccine.

She is the kind of grandma who is always taking care of everyone else, attentive to those around her and ready to make anyone feel at home. She is deeply in love with her husband, but when it is time for a new adventure, she is perfectly happy to leave him at home for a few days!

Italia is the sweet grandma who fills your heart.

Nonna Lalla

Nonna Lalla, born and raised in Palombara Sabina, is a woman with an infectious sense of humor and a natural gift for conversation. She grew up close to the land and started working in the fields when she was still a young girl. Even today, she loves taking care of her vegetable garden and going for walks surrounded by nature.

For many years, she worked alongside her husband in their furniture shop, selling pieces from different parts of the world. But her greatest passion has always been cooking. She started cooking when she was just 7 years old, when her grandmother Lalla — from whom she gets her nickname — taught her how to make fresh pasta by hand. She still cooks every day, and one of her favorite things to eat is focaccia.

Over the past two years, her life has changed: she started appearing on television programs and now even has a TV show of her own, “La Casa di Nonna Lalla”. Since then, she has traveled, met people from all over the world, and collected countless new experiences.

We call her now the “Humble Nonna”, because she never misses an opportunity to tell everyone about all the wonderful things she does! And her husband, incredibly proud of her, has filled the whole village with photographs of her: on television, in newspapers, with her guests, and traveling around the world.

That’s Lalla: the grandma who always has a joke ready and a story to tell.

Nonna Margherita

Nonna Margherita, born in Palombara Sabina, is the daughter and granddaughter of farmers. She grew up in the narrow streets of the village, in the shadow of the castle, in a simple family deeply connected to the land.

Like her mother and grandmother before her, she worked in the fields all her life. And despite the hard work, she remembers those years with affection: she loved being close to the land, learning something new every day, and sharing that knowledge with the women in her family.

Margherita also loves singing: she is a performer of stornelli romani, traditional Roman folk songs, and loves singing in the Roman dialect — songs that tell the story of her people and keep their traditions alive.

Today she is retired, but she has found a new great passion: cooking. It is where she continues to put everything she has learned into practice, turning her family memories into generous, comforting dishes meant to be shared.

Margherita has never left Italy, and her whole life has remained deeply connected to Palombara Sabina. It is her world — the place of lifelong friends, new friendships, traditions, and memories. A connection she does not see as a limitation, but as a choice: everything she loves is there.
