Originally from Southern California, Jen earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UCLA and went on to pursue an MBA from Sonoma State University, graduating in 2013. Introduced to the wine industry as a laboratory chemist in Sonoma, the fine details of the life of wine fueled her passion for winemaking as an artisan craft. In 2004, Jen accepted an enologist position in Alexander Valley, where she quickly involved herself in every facet of the winemaking process, moving into assistant winemaker as well as vice president and general manager roles during her tenure. Her deep love and appreciation of the Alexander Valley wine region led her to her current role at North Coast Wine Company in 2017. Hired as General Manager at the winery’s inception, Jen hit the ground running, enthusiastically planning and executing the eventual creation of NCWCo. While the path to launch has been full of twists, turns, and the occasional rapids, Jen has savored every step of the journey and looks forward to sharing the results in a bottle soon.
