A creative force in the beverage industry, from crafting award-winning drinks to launching immersive pop-up bars, her dedication has earned her national recognition, including a place on North America’s 50 Best Bars 2022, the title of Official Drink of Austin in 2017, and being named a Diageo World Class National Finalist in both 2017 and 2018. In May 2025, Alexis unveiled her most personal project yet, Botonica, a Latin cocktail bar in River Oaks, rooted in ancestral ingredients and immersive storytelling, that celebrates the richness of the Latin diaspora through bold flavors and cultural reverence. Additionally, she’s known for her immersive pop-up experiences, “Cursed Cauldron” and “Jingle Bell Bar,” curating imaginative themed cocktails and engaging atmospheres.
