Robert N. Price, executive Chef of The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, oversees all kitchen operations for the hotel. With its Ristorante Tuscany, new Acqua lounge and 550 annual meetings and conventions, the hotel serves approximately 225,000 guests and visitors a year.
Chef Price, who first joined Marriott seven years ago, recently relocated to The Woodlands after serving as Executive Sous Chef at the Crystal Gateway Marriott near Washington, D.C., headquarters of Marriott International, Inc. Chef Price executed one of his first Marriott events in 1998 at the company's Wye River Conference Center, where he teamed with the White House Sous Chef to open that year's Middle East Peace Talks with a private dinner for President Bill Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Yasser Arafat and Benjamin Netanyahu.
