Chris Baughman

I was born in 1981 and raised in Montgomery Texas, where I had an interest in food at an earlier age. I began working in the industry at the age of 15, and with a few years of training, realized how passionate I was about food. I attended the Culinary program at the Art Institute of Houston and graduated in 2003.

While in school I worked at the Brownstone in Houston under Chef David Welch, where I gained experience in a high-volume restaurant offering continental cuisine. Upon completion of culinary school I was employed at Eatzi's Market & Bakery, and was exposed to the catering side of the industry. I was promoted to catering/sous chef in 2004 and continued to train and expand my knowledge in the culinary field.

I started working for Perry's Steakhouse in 2006, and am currently the Executive chef. I am a young chef who is eager to learn and am passionate about what I do.
