HEB Wine Walk at Market Street

A premier Wine & Food Week event, the H-E-B Walk brings together fine shopping, fine wine, delectable foods and live entertainment while participants stroll throughout Market Street. Wine Wizard Master of Ceremonies will toast the official start of the Wine Walk and then participants set out to enjoy all the sensory experiences of the H-E-B Wine Walk.
Start just outside of H-E-B to receive your H-E-B gift bag filled with takeaways. Enjoy your first culinary selection provided by Americas Waterway, your first wine and then start strolling through the different tasting stations in H-E-B and then throughout various host retailers. Market Street is closed to vehicular traffic in the main court so participants can shop, sip and savor in comfort. Wine representatives will serve their selections and participants will enjoy tasty treats and hors-d-ouerves provided by H-E-B.
Enjoy live cooking demonstrations by visiting Chefs from Aruba and the sounds of steel drum music. Excellent selections will be shared by America's Waterway and Kirby's Prime Steakhouse. Visit Artist & Author Alley to meet visiting authors and artists who will personally sign your selections.
Tim Hanni, Master of Wine and developer of the Budometer will be conducting personal taste bud profiling. Get your buds done for free and see if you are a sensitive, hyper-sensitive or tolerant taster!
2008 will feature 30 tasting locations. The H-E-B Wine Walk sold out in 2007 so purchase your tickets in advance to assure attendance. The 34-acre Market Street features a Main Street-styled shopping and entertainment center with high-end retailers, public art projects and a Central Park.
