Climb on board the motor coach with 48 of your newest friends and be entertained, informed, enlighten and served selection from the energetic Owner of Retreat Hill Winery, Billy Cox, Jr. While in route Billy, who is also the winery director of the Texas Wine & Grape Growers Association (TWGGA), Region 3, and is the TBWT representative on the Agri-Tourism committee for TWGGA and Secretary/Treasurer of the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail will provide an informal seminar on the growth and future of Texas Wines as you taste through selections of Retreat Hill Winery.

At Retreat Hill Winery in Navasota you'll tour the facilities and vineyards then sit down to enjoy down home Texas Barbeque as you overlook the rolling hills and vineyards.

Board the bus again and head over to Bernhardt Winery in Plantersville with Owner and Winemaker Jerry Bernhardt taking the reins on the bus and tasting selections of Bernhardt wines. Upon arrival you'll be Wining and Dealing at Bernhardt Winery.

Knock quietly on the door and take a trip back in time to the era of the "Speak Easy". For the afternoon, the winery will be a poker hall and participants will have an opportunity to tour the winery and production areas while collecting a card at each of four specialty wine pairing stations. The four stations include wine pairings with cheeses, olive oils, sauces and a chocolate and barrel tasting in the barrel room. After the tastings, Jerri and Jerry will turn over three cards and the top five poker hands will be awarded prizes!

Next head over to Cork This!! Winery in Montgomery for an experience of an urban winery in downtown Montgomery. While in route, you guessed it, you'll be guided by winery owner partner Karla Nash along with Wine Walk Columnists Ron Saikowski as they introduce the crowd to wines made at Cork This!! Upon arrival you'll meet partner Fawn Creighton and tour the facility and enjoy dessert - the perfect ending of a great day along the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail.

Cork This!! will be serving chocolate mousse for dessert paired with our chocolate Port called "Heaven". Guests will also sample our Peach Apricot Chardonnay named "Summer Sipper" and our Cabernet Sauvignon named "One Night Stand". While at Cork This!! Tour Guests will be able to participate in the bottling process by sanitizing, filling, corking, foiling and labeling bottles of wine. If guests choose to do so, they may purchase a commemorative bottle of wine with a custom label for the Wine & Food Week Tasting Tour.
