Volunteer for Wine and Food Week 2009
A milestone has been reached – the fifth-year anniversary!
Wow, this is the fifth year of Wine and Food Week and it really doesn’t seem possible. Oh how time flies! The first four years were a blast, both exciting and entertaining (most everyone loosens up after a few glasses of wine). So here we are in the fifth year and once again I get to partake in three of my most favorite pastimes – food, friendship and wine!
I want to thank all of the volunteers that have participated in this event over the past four years. They work extremely hard to make Wine and Food Week a success as both an enjoyable and memorable experience. The hundreds of volunteers I have met since the inception of Wine and Food Week have created an excited anticipation for me. I cannot wait to see them all again to revisit past memories and to enjoy their company once again.
I would also like to thank to Clifton and Constance McDerby for giving me this fabulous opportunity. It’s a perfect fit for anyone who loves to eat great food, drink fabulous wine and talk with some of the most interesting people on the face of this planet.
